You are right about one thing, it is laughable to claim it's a great record...

Honestly, I like this as much as Daisy so far. I'm glad it doesn't sound like their horrendous singles at all.

After two listens 137 and 451 are the only ones I really like.

Closer is pretty nice too I guess even if it goes on too long.

so the soundcloud stream cut out after I got through Desert, and I thought that would have been a pretty interesting closer, but 451 and Batter Up are so so good.

137 is my early favorite.

He drew the shades, put on Brand New, spat in his hand and let himself collapse into some Science Friction. He is your average Sputniker.

"the fuzzy shoegaze-influenced guitars take over like a flash flood of color"

is this a Shikari reference or is it coincidental?

The bits of "screaming" here are pretty cringeworthy, I prefer when he does his Chris Martin impression.

Just spent $75 each on balcony seats for my friend and me to their Boston show. Fuck it, it's gonna be worth it

better than spending $45+s/h for the physical copy of a record you'll get in 2 months that came out the next day anyway
