I really can't find one thing I don't like about Eclosion. Really feel that way about the whole thing though for the most part. T/T and Onyx took some time to grow on me, but I think that's just because I liked everything else so much.

For maximum effectiveness pop some MD then drive to a secluded beach on a cloudless night and listen to Ecailles while bathing in celestial starlight and gazing upon a moonlight ocean of staggering beauty :') preferably accompanied by the girl of your dreams.

'For maximum effectiveness pop some MD then drive to a secluded beach on a cloudless night...' ... and possibly murder some girl you picked up in your dad's taxi cab and undergo a months-long trial while held in prison.

or u could just watch The Night Of and keep ur hands clean i guess.

Decided to listen to this for the hell of it, definitely Alcest's best work. None of their stuff before this was very good, but I'm enjoying this one a good deal.

Interesting...just curious what you find so much better about this release than their previous ones? Not saying I disagree, I haven't really listened to their previous work, but I've been told by a few people that this is amazing but not their best stuff.

Love that em detractors and elitists alike suddenly coming out of the woodwork and labeling this enjoyable, best work and whatnot. But it doesn't make much sense though.

doesn't need to make sense, sometimes the songwriting is just stronger and this appears to be one such case

while this hasn't deviated from the alcest style i remember from their earlier albums, it just sounds like it's written much better because i'm far less bored by it

I like earlier Alcest a lot, bit I feel like this is more fluid. I'll take any level of compliment from Ov I can get for a metal album I like, tbh.

I'll be seeing them when they come to LA. Should be amazing.

And yeah Eclosion is fanfuckingfastic. I've seen a couple videos of Eclosion played live and for some reason Niege doesn't sing the clean vocals that precede the heavy/screaming part towards the end. Not sure why, that's one of my favorite parts of the song. Interesting.
