The bonus tracks are okay. Nothing really that special imo

Yeah Hawks bro, do it. Spring is such a sweet jam, and The Ward is just beautiful with a damn catchy bassline.

Bonus tracks weren't all that to my ears. Only listened to them like twice though.
I do enjoy the second half of this album but the first half is like a new low for the band.

I love Mikael's vocal performance on Era.

I enjoy t/t and Will O The Wisp a lot and I think Mikael's performance on here as a whole is pretty good. Unfortunately there' s way too much reverb on the vocals though which makes them sound far away somehow.

Yep, it's a huge issue for me

Ditto. Music is flawed by this shitty production... It's a shame.

Era is easily the best song here for me.

My favorite is still Strange Brew. Quite the eargasm

Era is very repetitive. It was obvious to me from the second listen that I wouldn't dig it.

Still struggle to remember much of this even after quite a few listens.

Indeed. I feel no urge to listen again and that is sad. Heritage and PC at least awakened some morbid fascination with what Opeth were doing.

This is better than PC and Heritage imo... It needs some time to reveal its beauty though. It's a hard grower.

there is to much prog wank and to little eargasm in here to be a 4.0 like their last two

So you enjoy even PC better than this Flug? For me it's def
this > Heritage > PC
This has less prog wank elements and more interesting parts than PC for me.

Heritage > PC > this imo
I feel that they wanted to much on here. PC was more focussed and listenable.
