I honestly can’t remember when I started branching out from metal lol. TDAG is a life changing album for me though.
Yeah I mean I jam so much metal that I usually try to rank other genres separately to make it fair ya know. Been jammin a shit ton of other stuff recently though.

Top ten record of all-time TDAG is. Daisy and Sci-fi are tied for me. It depends on if I want aggressive BN or mellow. TDAG is the perfect mix.

I would personally rank it Science Fiction > Daisy > TDAG > Deja > YFW. As a full album, Science Fiction is flawless. Some individual songs leave a little bit to be desired but as a complete project, it's like nothing I've ever heard before. TDAG has one or two tracks I'm not crazy about, specifically Handcuffs (although I've grown fonder of it over the years) and Welcome to Bangkok (never understood the love for it).

I love the live in studio versions of Bed, At the Bottom and Bought a Bride. Made me love this album even more.

Bed is one of the worst tracks here imo, both versions
Vices, You Stole, Daisy, In a Jar and Noro is the shit m/

I love Bed tho.
First time I heard it I was tripping on acid fucking hard and thought Jesse said “My head is lit, I don’t ever wanna go to bed.” The song just has such great imagery that I couldn’t help but love it.

Basically, I think this is the only amazing BN album in general.
TDAGARIM bores me to tears, Deja has some great moments but is largely forgettable, YFW is more straightforward pop punk and is pretty fun, not checked Science Fiction...

This is the favorite Brand New of sophisticated and mature sputnikers.

Mainly my favourite cos the songs are actually memorable and have some really great lyrics scattered across the album.

I prefer both this and Deja (mostly nostalgia on that one) over TDAG. SF was boring to me on first listen, but now is my favorite so whenever you get around it give some time. It's the album I always wanted Brand New to make.
