Idk maybe it will grow, I just don't see what it's doing that a thousand dreamy, jangly indie albums haven't done before or since.

Honestly, the things I love most about this album are the lyrics, the melodies, the guitar tone, and just the overall vibe that the album has. It's an album that I can put on and instantly be in a good mood.

That's fair I guess, it's certainly a smooth listen. Maybe it just needs to grow on me.

There are certain albums that stick with you. The summer that this came out it was the soundtrack to what was going on in my life at the time. It's a perfect album to listen to in the car with a girl or as you longboard around in the evening

This reads like a hot take given the love for this and I do not understand why (no offence Boney - agree 100%). Can imagine it clicking hard over the course of a relatively undramatic but no less painful breakup but that's kinda it

yeah this album defines the summer of 2015 no doubt. it was a pop punk band that made a heavy turn towards indie rock and dream pop, which to my knowledge had never really happened before. This melded the styles seamlessly and just felt so, so, refreshing.
the much more lame reason why I love this album: it has gotten me through sooo many hangovers.
