BRI is too long and doesn't warrant the runtime. They used to The Night and the Silent Water not that long ago.
In all the times I've seen them, they've never given SL/MAYH enough love. The first time I saw them was 03 or 04 and it was almost all deliverance/damnation/BWP stuff. I would have loved to see them open a set with The Moor.

Tbh I’d love for Opeth to take a break and have each member go off and do something different.
More chance of them coming back refreshed and inspired but they’ve never taken a hiatus before.

Interesting point. More than anything I just want them to go heavy again; don't care to listen to anything by them post GR really. Even if they went back to Watershed quality and sound I'd be sort of happy.

Anyway last night was great & everything but not sure I’ll ever get over the Demon of the Fall omission, really shouldn’t have tried 2nd guessing the setlist by checking online, it leads to pain. Oh well, they played a lot of stuff I was expecting & the tracks from Sorceress sounded better live.
P.S. Not sure what’s going on with my regular account, have asked the admins because I can’t get in at all.
