i was listening to ''lounge (closing time)'' once in college at the library, stoned, and sitting in a chair across from a cute girl, there was a window nearby and it was snowing out, something relaxing about that experience. for some reason i cannot forget it. that song instantly brings me back to that moment

First time listening to this album, or Modest Mouse period. After two listens I’m blown away. Fantastic album. Can’t wait to go through the rest of their discog. Going chronologically. Definitely gonna spend some time with this album before moving on to Lonesome Crowded West.

This album is absolutely stacked, but the Tundra/Desert-Ohio-Exit Does Not Exist-Talking Shit stretch is absolutely mind blowing. So awesome. Every song in that group is a 5/5.
