disagree hard, read interviews with sam ray and the music is not forced or contrived at all. if someone feels that way its because they should.

Fuck, man...they just sounds like lo-fi indie rock to me. Don't need to over-complicate it. I guess they set themselves up for that reaction by naming themselves "Teen Suicide" and playing somewhat emo-influenced sad lo-fi music but you're missing out if you take 'em like that.
