I'm not gonna lie, I don't think the band ever really "matured" like people proclaim they did, nor do I think the band actually believes they are "heavy" off this record. Honestly, I think this is a fun, rather charming form of pop-metal (if that is even a thing).

I think the production on this record is very good for the genre. Terry Date makes "Can You Feel My Heart?" sounds super epic, and there's a lot of really cool atmosphere in that song and several other tracks. The records before this feel immature, and their output since then feels sterile/sellout-y. To me this is their only pretty good record.

Their s/t was good but definitely very immature. I will agree on There is a Hell being a tad better however.
