In Rainbows is awesome ...ya first time i heard Kid A i didnt get into it cuz i wasnt into electronic music at the time but it grows on me with time

To compare Radiohead NIN, I think Kid A and The Fragile are alike in several ways. Both are seen

either as that really bad one or one of the greatest things ever made. Both came out when the '90s was

ending and this millennium was kicking up. Both have a more distinctly introverted and negative tone

that than their respective predecessors (Radiohead has lyrically depressing work on each album, but

"How to Disappear Completely" has that distinction of being that song that can make you cry just on

virtue of how it sounds).



On another note, "Optimistic" is actually my favorite Radiohead song (followed closely by "Dollars and

Cents", "Cuttooth" and "Pyramid Song").

Fuck yeah indeed. The Amnesiac B-sides are some of the best of their entire career.



The jazzy outro stands out for me, too. It connects the last half of the record to the first half ("National Anthem").
