I have their discog in cassette and No prayer is top 3 for me. Then number of the beast and killers. The worst is fear of the dark, no doubt. Powerslave and somewhere in time has some weak tracks. Piece of mind is better but has some fillers too.
The best dickinson post blaze is the last one, has 3-4 good songs. The other albums are crap.
I saw maiden last summer and new songs are weak, a bad copy of maiden's good times.

Everything between aces high and rime of the ancient mariner is not 5, it's 4 or less. Somewhere in time is worse.

No Prayer is underrated. If it came out before NOTB people wouldnt hate it so much.

if limp bizkit came out in the 80s im sure they would be more respected too

No Prayer literally is just them playing the sound they played on their first three. I get preferring their previous stuff but like unless you hate Punky Maiden then there really isnt much thats hateable about it.

The vocals are raw and fit with the Punky vibe of the album.

I'm not saying Powerslave is a bad album, it's awesome. Somewhere in time is a bit worse but still great. What happens is that I prefer the style of No prayer.
Maiden discog is great if you are a fan of his prog style but I prefer the debut or piece of mind or No prayer.
Still, Seventh son of the seventh son is the best of Dickinson in Maiden by far,
from when the moonchild keyboard begins to be heard until Dickinson sings "seven your desires" is perfection.

No Prayer is a decent album, but the punk style does not suit these guys in any way shape or form.
I've always avoided anything from Maiden post 80s (bar Book of Souls and Fear of the Dark), but I've recently decided to venture through it all. I'm hoping that my ignorance was a mistake, but judging from No Prayer and Fear of the Dark, it hasn't gone unjustified.
