" 'Whole Lotta Love' as their intro jingle for years and years and I've got to admit that's probably why I can't quite embrace that tune as a classic"

Khasmir has a great riff indeed, but it could use some more chord progressions.

This might be a 5
In recent years I've had trouble deciding whether this or II is my third-favorite after III and IV - I currently have II sitting on a 5, but in recent years I've been more drawn to this

it's probably less that, and more that "Ten Years Gone" is not only my favorite Zep song, but one of my top 20 favorite songs of all time

Jamming this rn and I think I enjoy this way more than their other albums (I, II and IV). Just halfway in there though. It's really good

This unfortunately has a lot of filler, mainly the latter side of cd2, but the songs that do hit here are soul-touching. First CD is almost flawless, and second CD has the likes of Ten Years Gone and Down By The Seaside which are just pure bliss to listen to.
