It's way more a matter of technique than pure strength to hit the drums hard. Strength can even be totally counterproductive if it's used wrongly or with a lack of proper technical skills...

thats cool, i have it but i have not not heard the whole cd but i like hearing dream theater ... really good players. some songs are a bit too long on octavarium haha
