I never comment on his threads here, because I get triggered pretty easily by differing opinions about his music. I love all of his stuff, been following his music since literally the day the first mixtapes dropped. From the little snippet, it sounds a lot more hollowed out & isolated. Like his first mixtape, but he's having less "fun". Some of it reminds me of his bare-bones verse he did on "in vein", where you can hear the empty space & the nuances & shit.
