Well my room mate at college thinks that because he discovered Flux Pavilion, Feed Me, ect over the summer that he knows everything about dubstep and said it wasn't to which I laughed. Kinda want to have Dev. rip him a new one.

Following 4 acclaimed EPs, young London producer - & now singer-songwriter - James Blake delivers his self-titled debut LP. With few hints of his vocal prowess shown previously, Blake's soulful croon surprises here. Musically, the down-tempo piano of 'Klavierwerke' is expanded on, in amongst the usual glitchy electronics & deep bass. Ambitious beyond his 22 years, Blake captures moods perfectly on occasions, but when a track is just too abstract & detached, his repetitive songwriting soon wears thin over the 38 minutes. Ultimately, this is an intriguing experiment. Recommended Tracks: Limit To Your Love, The Wilhelm Scream & I Never Learnt To Share.

No, I think most would have thought I'd 2 or 2.5 this.

Hmmkay. I figured you'd never admit to liking anything outside of your comfort zone so I was expecting a 3-3.5 max

Huh? Of course I'd admit to liking something outside of my comfort zone. But I'd have to like it first.... And by the way, I like a fair bit of this. He captures moods perfectly at times, but when it gets a bit too detached & abstract (imo), his repetitive songwriting wears thin on me.
