^ yeah. that may be the case for you, eunuch, but i still (after all these years) find this incredibly emotional. it doesn't even have to do so much with relating it to a specific person as it does just being in a certain frame of mind when listening to it.

atmospherically, yes; musically, no. true, the genre doesn't have A LOT to offer, but this is... different. i don't think you need to connect with it on an emotional level to appreciate it, but it certainly makes it easier to get into
