The best things about Oceanic are the jams. The second half of The Beginning, the middle of False Light, all of Weight, the end of Hym. They're hypnotic and beautiful and I wish they'd go on for days.

Nah. That kind of thing and people posing as gutter repair men to scam elderly people makes me lose hope in the world.

Isis however gives me hope. And I'm probably on a government watch list for posting those words in a continuous string.

I imagine if you said over the phone the government would automatically start logging your phone calls.

I think the government is smart enough to research and realize there's a broken up metal band called "Isis." The actual Isis too lol

If by some twist of fate ISIS ever reformed I think they can safely rule out a French tour.

Mongi that's a awfully generous assumption of the government too

Maybe I do give them too much credit, but come on, one little internet search and there you go, case closed. If they're not willing to do that fuck them haha

If they're willing to scroll through 17 pages of searches to find something relating to the disbanded post metal group haha.

But fuck them anyway - the way I see it they're the one's amplifying every terrorism related event and basically propagating fear within the western world. I'm not implying that things such as the recent Paris attacks should be downplayed or ignored but surely there's a more effective way of handling incidents than focusing on them for days on end and inciting panic among everybody.

I live in Australia and for 3 days in a row the first 15 or so pages of the newspaper was dedicated to the attacks. Can't they see that they're essentially just doing ISIS (the terrorists) job for them?

Anyway that's my 2 cents and oh fuck me now i'm the dickhead for relating these 2 completely utterly unrelated groups who somehow share the same name.
