The songwriting here's much more varied and the songs stick out much more because of that, especially with the choruses since those on Great Cold Distance end up sounding a bit too samey imo. It's still a fantastic album but I think this improves on all of the weak spots that it has

I could've been in the wrong mindsets during those listens and It was only with like 1-2 listens each so don't take them too serious. That was during the times where I REALLY rushed to rate albums rather than actually letting them sink.
