Its proggy for sure. I like the album and wanted to like it more, but it just did not engage me enough to make my spine tingle.



Also, Sound Awake does not sound familiar to Tool and is not a reason to dislike this album.

Fair enough Anvil, each to their own, everyone has different tastes . It took me at least 5 listens to even start liking it, and then from then onwards I finally started enjoying the tracks, at first glance it was fairly bland.



And I agree... does not sound like Tool, reminds me more of Silverchair/Incubus/Meshuggah than Tool but there is definitely an influence.
