They never shouldve let Anders start writing his own lyrics.

it took me a while to figure it out, but it finally hit me recently who IF were trying to emulate after Clayman. it's Korn. from the look, to Anders' new singing style to lyrics, mfs were just straight up biting Korn

After, in the Cloud Connected video he still has regular long hair, but in System's is rocking the dreads

Anders' Jonathon Davis worship was most evident on STYE. There's a little on RtR but not nearly as obvious. It's because they started touring with nu metal bands around that time and were trying to cash in on it

I remember when I was first getting into them and reading reviews on metal-archives back in the day, and on all the albums after Clayman the metal nerds on there were always crying about them selling out and going "mallcore" lol

fuck it, feels to incinsere to only give this a 3.5. the amount of nostalgia i have for this is insane, basically introduced me to heavier metal. also album just objectively slaps balls.
