Slint's Spiderland is pretty dark, although it's more math-rock/noise-rock sounding than just straight post-rock.

I really liked the rhythms, but I just cannot practically listen to songs that are around 22 minutes long. Sadly I had to delete the album from my computer. If the band split the songs even in half, I'd probably keep the album, but the length is a huge deterrent. Because you can't just listen to some of one song (especially in Post-Rock), it means that whenever I want to listen to Godspeed I'd have to prepare myself for 22 minutes to listen to one singular inspiration. I just can't do that.
