The melody comes from the guitar
The vocals are supposed to be monotonous

they were "supposed" to be monotonous
|
| |
you know, at first i thought exactly the same thing about the vocals,
but when i got into them, i wouldnt have wanted them anyway different
|
| |
they are monotonous in tone but Karl does actually vary the pitch quite a lot
|
| |
i don't really have a problem with karls vocals, they are huge.
|
| |
neither, i can see how someone might find them boring but personally i fuckin love em
|
| |
finding Of Malice... harder to get into than this
|
| |
well it is a better record

Of Malice... is more technical, and I find it to have much more sincere emotion than this has.
|
| |
i mean immediately i love Five Years and The Year Ended In June but in the other songs I found i only liked the melodic parts

I think it took me a few listen too to get into it completely.

i can only hope it has the same long lasting effect on myself
