This album lost a lot of its appeal after the first ten listens or so. Now that I've listened to it as many times as the other Opeth albums I know it's not even close to being one of their best.

Nah, I kind of think Opeth's pre-Still Life albums were the bottom albums, but still good, and this is superior to Ghost Reveries.

God, I'm such an Opeth dork. Just feel in love with these guys a few years ago and have never found anything better.
