I got a record player for Christmas and just purchased this on vinyl. It's taken me to a whole new level of appreciation of just how good it is.

Brick you should get The Bends. A bit more straightforward rock but still awesome. Then try Kid A.

nah they've never written anything this good. kid a is insanely good but the lyrics and songwriting just aren't as strong

The compositions of the songs on Kid A are better than OK Computer though. Kid A also fits together a lot stronger in my opinion, the songs just seem to change colour and tone with the soundscapes as the album progresses and it just paints this entirely unreal picture of the music taking place in my mind. You understand me or am I speaking Jive?

and so starts another OK Computer vs. Kid A battle. It will go back and forth for awhile, then someone else will voice their opinion, then it will get off topic for awhile, insulting each other. Then someone elite from staff will come in and say that Amnesiac is really their best album. Then someone will say The Bends and everyone will laugh at him and then some rookie will come in all serious and talk about how life changing OK Computer is. /thread.

Yeah but I think that happens on OK Computer too. I think people give Kid A a bit too much credit because it's different. I respect what Radiohead did, but the lyrics really did suffer, and no songs on Kid A can best some of the better ones on OK Computer. Both are 5s though. And it's really apples and oranges comparing them
