Preferably don't check this one when you get around to it

Boney would like this one though :’(

He even likes Mercer’s vocals more than me - there’s added Shins here you see

This is a band I’ll go chronologically with once I do get around to them - it’s not a huge discog and a pretty “essential” one seemingly so I’ll definitely check them all (the studio albums at least).

This might be my favorite modest mouse for some reason.

I don't respect it as much as M&A but I listen to this all the time.

Entire discog is essential, don't listen to the haters

I've only heard this one & Good News, which I realise now was probably a mistake. In all seriousness I used to like Good News a fair amount more than I do now (it's still decent) so I can't claim that to be the case. A lot of time has passed since then & I'm not sure I actually care about this band anymore which means missing out on those classics I should've checked out at the time.

I remember this one having a few jams on it too.

This is their ‘easiest listen’ and ‘best for repeat plays’ and that’s ok - most bands would like at least one album with those characteristics

We have a victim right here in the form of Demon, folks. His brain's been scrambled by going non-chronological.

Never go non-chronological.

Saying all this, LastFM tells me these are one of my most neglected bands considering I used to listen to them a lot

Last 18 months we’re prob looking at less than 30 scrobbles

Relisten to BNOoS again so I don't blow a gasket over that "3.whatever" you gave it

@Boney you should definitely check out The Moon & Antarctica first. It's their best, most sophisticated, and most accessible album all at once.

SandwichB - That’s definitely in the ‘listening ordeal’ bracket as a full listen job.

Stuff like ‘Medication’, if you’re not in the mood...

Still looking for a shorthand for SandwichBubble - not sure I can live with ‘Bubbs’?

All good until I form a super group named the Smashing Bumpkins, and start referring to them as SB in album threads

Then what?
