I like post-metal influence a lot more than any actual post-metal[3]

Yep, no exaggeration.

Cult of Luna are up there too, for me.

no doubt that there's a monumental drop-off if you dig too deep, yet there's other great stuff underneath the surface and it can be a surprisingly diverse genre (for all the talk of copycats), just nowhere near as much good stuff as DM on the whole (unfair / not-really-a-comparison-comparison). I do agree that it's sometimes difficult to not just put a small handful of classics on for the zillionth time though

Yeah PM has probably 15-20 5/5 or close to it albums that are basically all you'd ever need.

I rarely listen to it outside of Rosetta, Luna and Isis, and when I do it's The Ocean and it's debatable how much they fit into PM.

Holy shit it's awesome. Could these guys sound any more massive? My God they're gonna summon Cthulhu with their music some day.

New song is based and sputniker DaveTrane was hanging out in the youtube chat.

Bioma's comments were originally about how he couldn't get into this band because they're too serious or something like that.
