the chorus and bridge part in archers is one of the best parts of the album the ''what did you learn tonighttt...'' part and the bridge part: ''feels like we could escape..'' to the end is great

Archers > Not the Sun and it isn't remotely close.
Actually 'Not the Sun' might be my least favorite track here.

the guitar bend in You Won't Know > Not the Sun's bridge > the guitar bend in I Will Play My Game > everything else this band ever made

the guitar bend in You Won't Know > Not the Sun's bridge > the guitar bend in I Will Play My Game > everything else this band ever made
how you gonna talk about Brand New's greatest guitar bends and not even give a ceremonial nod to the harmonic bends in Jesus?

they are unisons with the vocals and therefore don't count
real bends can stand on their own

Brand New's guitar bends or Radiohead's The Bends? Go.

In The Water is the 2nd best song this band has recorded. Not The Sun #1.

Still mad I’ll never be able to talk about this album or band in public any more without an extended, qualifying preamble about how my appreciation for the music in no way constitutes an endorsement of Lacey or his actions because damn this still hits

... I've never really had that problem. Everyone I know that likes Brand New acknowledges Jesse is a piece of shit, but we all still love the music. It's mainly just me arguing that this is their best record lol
