here's some real absolute bottom tier radiohead songs that don't play to their strengths at all tho:

-the entirety of pablo
-the entirety of bends
-most of ok comp
-burn the witch and all four of the last songs on amsp

Glad to see that you at least kept Kid A out of all that. Pablo is definitely the worst Radiohead album imo

this, pablo, and the bends are easily the weakest radiohead albums. kid a is perfect, tkol, and in rainbows come close, amnesiac is underrated as hell, ok computer is excellent, and httt is slightly above average

The thing that pisses me off about ok comp is how ~on the verge~ it is of nicely reconciling their lame 90s alt crap with the more experimental nature of what they went on to do with all of their best work. The whole thing is just ~almost~ there, and I can see how, as a bridge between their straight up alt b.s. before it and the material after it, it is a classic but also it's still kind of a drab office cubicle little British IT nerd album

HTTT on the otherhand is chaotic and disjointed but the best songs on that are still better than literally anything on OK Comp. I just have to look at it as a collection of singles kinda like With Teeth.

And no johnny[weeb] this is not an invitation for you to share your suspiciously reactive opinions on HTTT

bitch, pretending HTTT is better than OKC is an ultimate reactive take, as is backing it up with a perfect get over urself this~is~almost~a~good~album spiel, my work here is done

Speaking of ultimate reactivity

Want to try that again in a way that makes sense or are you too triggered

Legendary release from my least favorite overrated band.

Without the opener it would be a legit 4 stars album... what a piece of shit track.

The problem with this album is that it's a 5 as a tragic story, but not a 5 to the people who want a more balanced experience like OK Computer or Kid A. It's part of why I don't revisit as much because it's really there for me when I'm feeling extremely sad or depressed. But I will always stand by it being a 5.

nearly 5 years on, on a good day, this could be my 3rd favourite Radiohead album

this album is so much more than just a "tragic story", that's such a reductive way of looking at it
