"Yeah man Parallax 2 and Terminal Redux are 2 of my favorite space sci-fi epic albums ever, if you haven't checked out Mechina, i highly suggest you do so, they've basically created a sci-fi complete universe with their discography"
I'll give it a listen for sure, sounds interesting. I've been so out of the loop as far as music is concerned haha. I just saw Exmortus last night though, killer time. Haven't been to a show in quite a while hah, my neck is killing me. (Poser alert)
"it ain't bad, just SPICY HOT. nothing wrong with it, album ain't bad, just never heard anyone put it over colors.
fuck a universe I came for riffs mmmmm///////////////////"
Haha gotcha. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, unless they're wrong. I assume you're a Colors kinda guy?

This album is a self indulgent overly grandiose wankfest. Also it's very boring

“Did a new one come out since Coma? Haven't heard it if so.”
It’s worth checking out for sure, you might not be crazy about it if you weren’t into Coma. It kind of continues the songwriting ethos seen on that, but heavier and more parallax/misdirecty (and more interesting concept.
And just for my morbid curious, what’s some of your favorite Dream Theater?

I'll definitely give it a spin, did not know they did anything new yet! thanks for the heads up dude, probably would have taken me another year to find it hahaha.
Favorite DT is Images, followed by Scenes, then Six Degrees, Awake, then I don't know. I think their best song is Change of Seasons though, hits me like a mountain of bricks every time.

Writing riffs are for posers, sputnik forever to prove that you're truly metal

What's a drake? Do you mean a dike, like a river? Probably the Tigris and Euphrates.
Thrust, I'm not going anywhere. I may be inactive for a bit sometimes, but my spirit carries on and I'll eventually come back to haunt the place.

What are riffs? I write wankfests, for real posers to wank to. I'm certainly not advanced enough for 3 chord masterpieces.

Switch Images with Six Degrees and that’s my ranking! Awesome. And yeah Change of Seasons is something else. Very Dream Theater but at the same time unlike anything that came after it.
