I love chino's lyrics, but they're not exactly profound and not even in the top 3 most appealing aspects of their music. I can't speak for others, but I've never heard anyone gushing about how great the lyrics are on a new deftones song. It's always been about Steph's riffs, chino's croon, and the atmosphere of the song.



Also I still feel like my other criticisms of this album stand.

I mean I like Chino's lyrics but I'm not really a lyrics guy in general. The lyrics aren't a top 5 reason of why I have this at a 5 and that goes for all my non hip hop 5s.
