I did say ‘probably Amnesiac’ Oct, I’m less sure about that these days.

The hate for TKOL always astounded me tbh.

TKOL Basement and this are 4th and 5th best Radiohead after the big 3 (OKC, Kid A, IR).

"It’s better than this, Hail To The Thief, Pablo and evenish with The Bends"
Word. I'd put this as evenish with the Bends tbh, but that's the shape of it

Would that be ‘The Bends’ the revered classic that was and still is seen by many as the bands definitive album and one of the greatest records of all time.

half of The Bends is milquetoast rock for people scared of their own microwaves sorry zak, you're on the wrong end of history and hipsterdom here

Half of the bends sounds like gay britpop which is fine but simply not for me.

I love love love The Bends it's way up there, together with Rainbows, HTTT (! Actual truth !) and TKOL for me. Their Big Two are not something I come back to very often.

For me it’s

OK Computer

In Rainbows

A Moon Shaped Pool

as the albums I go back to regularly. The others have fantastic songs that are on my Radiohead shuffle playlist but don’t draw me back as often for a start to finish listen.

The Bends is strong. Fake Plastic Trees and Street Spirit are two of their very best songs imo.

Yes but a few duds on there too. The Bends is tied with the studio version of The King of Limbs for 7th best imo. OKC was the beginning of their lush, experimental perfectly flowing masterpieces.
