"Ohms has Spell of Mathematics, Urantia, Error, This Link is Dead, Radiant City, Headless, Pompeji, etc, its a fantastic record lmao"

Pompeji is straight up top 3 worst deftones tracks ever written. I don't know what they were thinking with that one or what Chino was thinking with that horrendous chorus.

Only songs from Ohms I would ever feel like jamming again are TSOM (that goes for 2 minutes longer than it should), Error and Radiant City. Maybe the t/t too, though I rarely feel like it. The rest is dull, boring and uninspired

I just now found out that Sergio left the band, and apparently Stephen won’t tour internationally because he’s afraid of COVID but he’s also anti-vaxx? What a dipshit.

Abe has said that he has a fear of flying, not of COVID

Still hangin tough at 4.1. I think it’ll end up settling at 4, would be surprised if it goes down to 3.9 like ohms.

And the transition with milk is perfect

Agreed. This album just has a nice flow in general, a few especially good transitions.

He's doing US and Canada dates because he can travel with a bus. Overseas touring however has ceased

I enjoy this in theory but the way Chino’s voice is kind of buried in the mix prevents it from ever quite hitting the peaks some of these songs should. I don’t know if it’s produced that way because he feels like he’s lost something or if it’s just a choice like the last alexisonfire record. He’s clearly still got the ear for writing incredible melodies but he’s not positioned in the mix in a prominent enough place to take you to the same emotional heights some of their earlier works did.
