new song is good but it is starting to seem this band peaked with the ep.

"would be funny if dillinger released new awesome music with Dimitri just to prove that Greg was largely a non-factor compared to the rest of the squad"

while new dimitri-dillinger prob would be pretty awesome i just don't know how someone could possibly listen to greg-dillinger and think he wasn't a huge part of their sound. i'd even argue both greg and billy contributed more to making their 2010s material as great as it is than ben.

Billy maybe
but all the Ben-isms in their late era have aged dramatically better than the Greg-isms, so hard bet there

nah greg started peaking at op while ben steadily continued his self-plagiarizing... that album feels like a pretty definitive point where greg takes the car keys imo in terms of who "stands out" the most (and if not there i think its even more apparent on killer)

Band past calculating infinity is nothing without Greg but I’d be happy to be proven wrong

New song is meh. What is a myopia anyways.

I don't think I cared for this one for more than like two days.

Song slays except for the chorus vox. Pretty cringe.

Beginning to accept that, for me at least, the Greg + ETID idea is better on paper than in practice. Have to also concede that I was never the biggest Greg / DEP fan in the first place, more just acknowledging their greatness on many levels.

I'm just at the point with this project where I have no interest and don't see the point of it. Every time I jam a new song I'm like "that was okay" and then it's onto something else. They have zero staying power for me and I'm just gonna pretend they don't exist lol

Yeah, I'll check out their new stuff but most of the time it just makes me want to listen to ETID, honestly.

The two singles are so good but the new one absolute slaps. That breakdown at the end.

I've always liked TDEP and Greg alright, but his harsh vox here just doesn't really do a lot for me. Biggest hurdle for me with this band
