One of their lesser violent album covers but probably the most aesthetically pleasing. Can't wait. m/

Which other one from their modern era would you recommend? Looks like it's a tie between skeletal and torture

n my opinion, brutal death metal, like Cryptopsy and Cannibal Corpse, is the most pathetic kind of the music there is. The blast double-bass beats are so uncreative, and the vocals just make me crack up. Growling can be good, like with Opeth or Amon Amarth, but this just sounds ridiculous. Brutal death metal isn't expressive of emotion or lyrical talent. The lyrics are only disgusting for the sake of it.

I've never jammed a Cannibal Corpse song more than once apart from Evisceration Plague, which is a jam. For some reason they don't really do it for me generally. That said, I've never done a full album go-through. Is this album a decent full listen if I dig Evisceration?

n my opinion, actual death metal, like Infester and Gorement, is the most amazing kind of the music there is. The blast double-bass beats are so powerful, and the vocals just make me want to punch a tree. Growling is awesome good, like with Deicide or Atheist, but this just sounds monstrous. Old School death metal is extremely expressive of emotion and lyrical talent. The lyrics are disgustingly trve for the sake of it.
