The Interview, Summer Shudder, Affliction, 37mm and Love like Winter are probably my top 5 on this.
While we are here, fun fact on Miss Murder. Davey opposed it even making it on the album, but the rest of the band overruled him. The chorus wasn’t even meant to be final lyrics, he wrote them as throwaway lyrics strictly for the melody to be finalized later. The record label then insisted on making it the lead single and ultimately the swing became their biggest hit.

I used to not like summer shudder a bit but its grown on me. UNDER THE SUMMER RAIN! BURN! YOU LOOKED AWAY.
Miss Murder is fine, one of the weaker tracks for me personally. Def doesnt deserve the title of their biggest song but what can you do?

I always disliked Miss Murder and it irked me that it seemed to be the main song that casuals knew from AFI. It's an okay song, I just never understood why it blew up the way it did, they have so many way better songs

Hey I like Miss Murder, heh this was about the time I fell out of well tune with the band. More a me thing. Also when I got into them more Sing the Sorrow was already blowing up the charts (I love Sing the Sorrow) but I spent a lot time listening to their older albums too. I guess play catch up.
So there's my story. I probably posted here before and someone suggested a song I did like too. It was in my active posts anyways. So this an album if I got into it, I definitely think I would have gotten into it as AFI definitely experimenting their style more after this.
Also hey artiswar. AFI covered the hanging garden. It's a very good cover was released on.....the 1998 EP. I don't have it, but I do have All Hallows!
