a cool thing about this band (and to be fair, they're all i listened to growing up, so perhaps this is only applicable because of that, idk) is that i feel like i can make a genuine argument for any of their first three albums or any song on those albums as being the best - they all serve such distinct moods in my head. even the ones i don't listen to much i can very much understand someone claiming as the best. there are very few total clunkers for me

Facts. But I think it has a lot to do with what age you are when those albums came out. Seems to me that everyone who was introduced to MCR with Black Parade says it’s the best and everyone who already knew them say this or the first album.
