Let us know what you think Boney and Lucca. I still need to check Saor, Balls- is the new album the best way to start.

Boney, their album Shelter is more straight Shoegaze and poppier than any of their other albums. No metal vocals etc, try that one out maybe.

The 3.4 average for it is total BS

I didn't like it for a long time but that was mostly because I was pissed they removed the m/

But yeah it can definitely be dull at times.

Horrible is a major stretch unless you just hate the band all together.

It's a nice listen. The production bothers me at many points but I like it a lot. It's pretty divisive though.

Ecailles is a godsend [2]

Shelter was great but their weakest release. La Nuit Marche avec Moi, L'Éveil des Muses, Délivrance, and Into The Waves are fantastic though. The bonus track Into The Waves in particular is one of their best songs in general.

Check my Periphery review Kill and see that that isn't wholly true

Also when I re-rated all the albums I heard, I omitted most of the crap I had at a 1 and 1.5 cause they weren't worth it.

I've got Shelter on vinyl, so... yeah, I'm into it. I get the complaints though.

I don't have lots of 1s-1.5s either. Just not worth it seeking out something you'd know you'll hate unless it's to give something a chance or it's a band you like already. I never saw the worth in trying something you know you'll hate just to piss people off it's dumb.

I used to have tons of low rated albums, but hadn't actually listened to most of them in full. I only re-rated albums I had fully jammed, which made sense, and I think my ratings look better now as a result. Music is meant for enjoying after all, no point actively seeking out the bad stuff.

i haven't even rated most albums i'm not fond of, i mean no one judges anyone on their objectivity score...right?

I went through and rated all the Atilla albums because someone in one of their threads pissed me off comparing them to ETID (lol), but I actually have heard all of their albums and hadn't rated them previously.

However, I generally don't seek out albums to 1 either. Even if I hear something new that I hate, I usually just stop listening as opposed to giving it a shit rating just because it isn't for me.

Eclosion guys. I've listened to it probably 200 times in the last 3 days and I can't get enough. What a masterpiece.

jeez assuming your assumption is perfectly accurate and not at all exaggeration to make a point then you've spent approximately 41.666% of the last 3 days listening to that song. Time well spent
