Tbh I don't totally get everyone's enthusiasm for Spitting Venom, it's a perfectly good song and def one of the better WWD tracks but I've talked to people who say that it's the only good song on the album and that just baffles me

I definitely don’t thunk it’s the only good song on WWD, it’s a great solid 4 album imo. Little Motel, Parting of the Sensory, March into the Sea and the last two tracks are solid. SV is the best tho by far. The We’ve Got Everything-Fly-Education stretch kinda sucks though.

Yup, Venom is awesome. All about that drop in the first half and the horns in the second. The other tracks Lark mentioned are all great though, and WWD in my book is actually a much more even listen than Good News hmm :/

Tried to listen to this once and didn't hate it but got distracted halfway whoops

Ground Walks is top-tier Modest Mouse for sure. This really isn’t a bad album, it’s just weaker than anything before.
