this is pretty consistent for what it is, which is being clumsy and gimmicky

had to listen to this again in my friends car yesterday which reminded me just how right i am

still sounded like riff heavy, bouncy nu-hardcore with some jazzy and electronic interludes tacked on. i mean it sounds huge but its boring/derivative. i'd agree with whoever said flames of discontent is a bit more interesting but either way there's a ton of better bands that didn't get this sacred cow status

I'm so high on this record. Rocking out to "Liberation Frequency" on my bass right now.

There's actually a Paramore song that pays tribute to Refused. Look it up. Also, The Used did a live mini-jam of "New Noise" on their Berth live album.

Cheapest labour at our expensive cost, auctioned our lives away"

I said I hate it, well I don't hate it I just think it is 1/10th as good as everyone says and that their are far more important and influencial punk albums.

Sure there might be more influential albums but that doesnt take anything away from how awesome this one is.

I need to revisit their previous album, but I do love giving this a spin; not to mention my "Refused" tee.
