@tresm Hmm, possibly.

Best part of the song instrumentally after this particular part. [2]

All taken as interpretation but the whole song has blatant nods to me.

"You and I... Can't decide... which one of us was taken for granted. Make amends, some of us were destined to be outlived."

Explaining it had to be him or Joey?

"Step inside, see the devil and I, too many times we've let it come to this,

"step inside, see the devil and I, You'll realise I'm not your devil anymore"

Enough is enough and one of us has to go, and this way we won't have to fight anymore.

I could type the whole lot, but to me, Joey and Corey had bad friction and blames Corey for getting fired. Them lyrics seem quite aimed at... well, it. lol

And that part you quoted tres is the part that confirmed it to me.

Wow, don't quote me, but yeah I thought he got the bullet. Pretty sure I read in an interview with Joey he said he got fired.

Yeah, as far as I remember he got kicked out because he wasn't the same. Probably due to what Tuna said.

I do remember people saying the Negative One was aimed at Joey, and Corey denied it, but Devil And I seems way more out there.

Talking of drummers...Is anyone else suspect of the drums on this album? I think they sound waaaaaay too polished and unnatural leading me to believe they're programmed...anyone else or just me haha

Nah Jay is a beast on the kit. Pretty sure he did them.next to the guitars the drums are by far the best thing on this.

So Corey's lyrics aren't the best thing?
