I like happy frivilous Weezer better than the depressive, self-loathing kind of stuff but to each their own

Pinkerton is more frustrated than sad, but Across The Sea does tug on the heartstrings.

Butterfly though. So beautiful yet tragic.

new album is a ton of fun and very good but also maybe a little bit underwhelming, i feel it doesn't bring the riffs quite as much as this does

after a long day of slaying dragons and microwaving Adam's ribs (on the popcorn setting), I just want to sit in front of the tv and eat a cannoli

I've heard every song officially released so far but nothing else (so 50% of the record). Would you say the album is more Pinkerton or more Blue? And is it better than EWBAITE?

got my pre-order copy today, have given it a few listens. I'd definitely say it's more Blue than Pinkerton, and personally I think it is slightly better than EWBAitE.

From what I've heard so far it seems more Blue than Pinkerton, my preorder copy will presumably arrive tomorrow but I'll be away- hopefully it'll be in my Amazon music library (thanks autorip) and I can give it a proper listen.

It's nice to feel excited by a new Weezer album now they're good again.

More blue with some pinkerton making its way through in the frameworks. Synths sound more like something on an Ozma record than a Weezer record, though.
