Its no Vital, and doesn't match up to New Surrender either. I'm guessing I should check the albums before those too.

New Surrender was honestly really good imo, but it is one of Christians weaker performances I'll admit.

What's so bad about a 3? It's above average. Black Markets is a 2.5 for me and I still like it and give it a spin every now and then.

I really don't like how a 3 seems to signify a bad album for the most people. Just like with game reviews where everything below 8/10 is being declared as crap.

Yeah and everything should be handled as it is in murrica'!

An 2.5 album still may be enjoyable to a certain extent. But well, opinion is an opinion blah.

@VheissuCrisis

I felt the same way more or less, but now I really enjoy the album. It's a slower album overall, with only two real rockers, two mid-tempoish rockers (Hearing Voices, Losing it All), and then a bunch of slower songs. So it's just less instant. Stuff like Birds of Prey & Harbinger grow quite a bit imo.

Also a 3/5 is pre good, true it's a 60% on a grading scale but there's no reason to use the American education system. 2.5 = average, 3.0 = good. Sputnik tells us that lol. But if you're a huge fan of a band, then a 3 might be low relative to your enjoyment of the band, so then a 3 is pretty low.
