Dark Souls completley destroyed gaming enjoyment for me as nothing else comes close. Total gaming perfection. DSII was a bit shit though.

eh, a lot of people like to shit on dark souls 2, and while it wasn't as good gameplay-wise or aesthetically as its predecessor(s), i still had an absolute blast playing it. the thing that irked me most though was the hitbox issues. several times in boss fights i found myself rolling out of the way, only to find the enemy drastically changed his trajectory within a second's notice and hit me, which is complete bs.



dark souls and demon's souls are two of my favourite games ever - especially the former. must have put over 100 hours into that game



demi: street fighter series is SO good. also stoked to play the new mortal kombat. did you get zelda majora's mask for 3ds? i picked it up a few days ago and haven't even touched it yet. evolve has been ruling my life lately but it'll prob wear off fast

For me the world of the first Dark Souls was like a medieval folk tale brought to life with bosses and characters that were deep enough to actually have a....'soul' :D

The sequel chucked all that in the bin, the only thing that improved was the multiplayer.

Never played Demon Souls but it looks amazing.

Chopped in my Xbox soley to play Bloodbourne.

yeah bloodborne was enough alone to make me purchase a ps4, and then i realized the ps4 has a lot of ridiculously awesome games. the exclusives on ps4 make xbox one look like a joke by comparison (even for arcade games)

dark souls 1 had a couple boss battles that were straight up lame as fuck, and bed of chaos is easily one of them. dark souls 2 had them as well, and ancient dragon is possibly the most tedious boss fight of all time

also i still gotta play dark souls dlc damn. sounds like its worth it. i love that game so much; the gameplay is tops but the lore and atmosphere put it OVER the top in terms of quality. demon's souls is great so far too but doesn't quite have the same cohesiveness that made me fall in love with DS1. or maybe im just bitter cuz i keep getting my ass kicked fuck

^ i have both of those, we should def brawl sometime. i'll shoot you a shoutbox message with my screen name when i log on next. who's your main? and yeah mm is my favourite also. it's so dark, and there's so much subtext that a lot of people miss out on (also fierce deity is the most badass thing ever).



yeah demon's souls is less accessible and less beautiful overall but it's still a phenomenal game top-to-bottom. wait until you get to storm king. that battle is unlike anything in the souls series.

oh man im excited. that dragon god or whatever boss is insane. haven't beaten him yet but it's a cool set up, kinda like bed of chaos except not terrible



my main for SFIV varies, usually Cammy or Bison but im pretty good with most characters. rusty, though. SFIII im pretty bad at overall but i find myself using Alex and Ibuki most of the time

haha bed of chaos is where i rage quit dark souls for a few days. what a poor boss design. not even so much a boss fight as an obstacle course.



bison is a lot of fun to use. glad to hear you're not maining with cheap asses. i prefer jury myself

That run and jump onto that fucking bed of chaos tree stump is total torture.

It's a case of breeze it in one or two or take about 20 goes at the thing.
