OK Computer killed plinky plonky britpop rubbish and pushed the boundaries. In terms of impact at the time it was the mid to late nineties dark side of the moon.

definitely give ok computer a listen Lioness. if you're anything like me however you'll think it's overrated and indulges a bit too hard in sci-fi britpop sensibilities

Yeah, after a number of listens to OK, my opinion kinda changed, its an amazing album, but not one i could constantly listen to. Kid A however..

Kid A certainly had people scratching their heads at the time, it was a master stroke from radiohead in their refusal to compromise. At the time I thought it was pretentious bollocks. Love it now, best album for me though is In Rainbows.

I am lucky in that I didn't start listening to Radiohead till 2010 so the contexts each album is tied to hasn't affected me all that much.

In rainbows was really good, Kid A, has optimistic, morning bell, how to disappear soo many good tracks. I love Bodysnatchers off IR though.
