My dad just died. I'm putting up a wall in front of everyone I know and trying to stay strong for my little brother, but the truth is I'm fucking hurting. Bleed the Freak was his favorite song, and Alice was his favorite band. I don't have a point to this, they opened with it when we saw them together. I don't know anymore. Life just fucking sucks right now. I don't think theres an afterlife, but if there is I hope he's there jamming this album along with me.
I'm lost.

Damn, so sorry to hear that, man.
My mom died a few months ago, my only advice is to keep your friends/family close as you can and use music/the outdoors/anything else you can to help find a little peace.
I know nothing really makes it ok, but hang in there as best you can.

Thank you. I don't really have an outlet. The man was a bastard but he was my dad. I just can't shake the feeling of "now what?" I know I can go on, but we were so alike, for better and worse.
I'm just in shock I think.
I get to say my last goodbye before they burn him up tomorrow. I guess thats a plus to all of this.

Sorry to see what you're going through Wildcard. Once tomorrow is over and you've said your goodbyes, I hope maybe you'll consider finding someone to talk to. I was in a bad place a few years ago, and getting a counselor I connected with really helped.
