Was thinking about commenting on this today. When is this band going to do something new? Descension would be such a shitty way to end. Imagine the last song this band ever releases is "2's My Favorite 1". I can't imagine a worse way.

While it would be a shame for them to end on Descension, at the same time I'd be content if they did leave it there as 1 duff album out of 7 (and to be fair it's not an APPALLING album) isn't bad. If they got it wrong again then that'd be a greater shame.

Bumped this up to a 4 myself. Honestly, if you take the best bits from this + Descension + deluxe demos you get a really great Coheed album.
A little apprehensive about Color Before the Sun but we'll see...
