for sure, and I live in Florida
There are so many records that just don't hit me the same way because of the environment I now live in

Bumped rating. This is becoming one of my favourite albums from any of his projects. So dark, so brilliant.

Fucking love listening to this when I’m walking around the Epcot centre

relistening after many years I find that the true highlights of this are the ballads
like... there's some filler and if i revised all my ratings this might be a 3.5 or a 4, but Deform, Postcard and Like Dust... are a clear 5

I don’t hear any filler, love how sprawling and adventurous everything is. Slightly prefer it to Insurgentes and Raven.
My favs are Deform, Postcard, Belle De Jour, Raider II, and Like Dust. Grace for Drowning/Sectarian, No Part of Me, and Black Dog are pretty awesome too.

Already in a Steven Wilson/PT mood, so I think I'll rejam this today. Really good album, and yeah, I agree that its adventurousness is a big plus

Last Day of June is a very nice instrumental compilation that isolates parts of his first four solo albums, like Under the Shadow of my Father is the outro of Track One without the darker middle section.

Just jammed this again for the first time in a while, and it still rules. Definitely my second favorite SW solo album after HCE

Just picked this up recently, finding it surprisingly mellow/spacey in a lot of places. Not sure why I expected something different, but I did. Too soon to rate it, but it's really growing on me.

It's his most haunted record for sure and it really creeps into your soul over time. Spaced out and minimal in a way that makes the explosive moments really hit

Definitely his most brooding album, there's a palpable sense of grief too.

regretfully never dove into this solo stuff. but rejaming blackwater park and bleak obviously has me feeling it. i think next year i gotta discog him. heard a few songs from some albums and loved them.

I'd say Hand Cannot Erase or Raven are good places to start, they're my favourites alongside The Harmony Codex. HCE is probably his most fully realised album in terms of sound and concept.

i'll keep that in mind friend, appreciate it!

God, this is still such an amazing record. I’ve been listening to No Part of Me and Postcard on repeat cuz for some reason it’s been YEARS since I’ve jammed this front to back
