Didn't know what to expect from this album. I really liked it though. Will certainly be jamming this one though. Can definitely hear the aPC in this.

Never been closer to an immediate five after a first listen. Holy cow. Gotta spin it again to let the more out there tracks like Rikki Tikki Tavi and Coppertank Island set in but . . . Holy cow.

Always tend to forget about this in my decade lists. Will have to change that.

Can anyone recommend any songs like Rikki Tikki Tavi? I hear the SoAD influence but at the same time not really

Mostly the vocals. It doesn’t really sound like a metal style to me, something a little different. I dunno.

I thought this album was a lot more immediate than Fables

I actually like the verses and bridge of Whiskey & Ritalin more than the chorus. The vocals pop a bit more imo

Whole thing is awesome though

Bugs me that it's impossible to tell if these guys are working on anything else even solo. It's like they vanished. Anyway, this is one of the best finds of mine from Sputnik. I remember reading a review here the day it came out 8+ years ago. Need to re-listen. Fables was better but this has some highlights.

It's a shame. I really hope they find a way to solve the debt issue or whatever it was and get back together. They are easily one of my favorite bands of this decade.
