"El Paso" is like slower, less complicated At The Drive-In with ridiculously spastic vocals. Intentional coincidence?
This album was fun to be honest. Average rating is correct (Sputnik wise, at least).

Adam sounds like the music snob that picked out a target and started bashing before the album could get a few plays to sink in......i agree that the format is the same as any other TBS album but this record isnt the shit record he makes it out to be.....It has a solid, sturdy foundation of jams mixed in with some just okay filler material. Adam is right, it isnt a gem(5) but all and all if youre a TBS fan then you'll like this record. Adam if you want to bash a musician then start reviewing albums from Lady Gaga, T pain and their likes!

Yes, she has a penis but so does Brit Spears, the guppies in my fish tank and your mom......doesnt make Lady Gaga anymore special to have a penis, lots of people have them....sexualsoybean I'm almost positive that if you went to the nearest mirror and opened your mouth you'd find a few in there also......just saying!!!!!!you keep a stockpile of penis's like russia keeps nukes......also just saying!!!!

This album after a few listens is really good. I'd have preferred to wait for this longer than we did than have the disappointment that was New Again.

On their self-titled 5th LP, Taking Back Sunday reunites their original line-up with the return of John Nolan & Shaun Cooper. The downside is that the N.Y band replace the solid Matt Fazzi & the killer bass-lines of Matt Rubano in search of a nostalgia that was impossible to recreate. Leaning towards stadium rock, the musicianship here is proficient, without being innovative, while any experimentation leads to neutral results. This may be their weakest release yet, but it is thankfully still a consistent LP with many catchy sing-along choruses. Recommended Tracks: Best Places To Be a Mom, Faith (When I Let You Down), You Got Me & Sad Savior.

I'm in the "This may be their weakest release yet" camp, but I still think it's darn good.
