I should probably considering dropping ( ) because 3 x Sigur 4.5s for 2024 Demon is just plain weird. It’s a process I’m going through

"Staralfur >>> Olsen Olsen for sure, but it too is the wrong side of the line for sappiness" I thought this said "applauses" at first and I was like damn thats a bar

As a Caucasian who has lived near metro-Detroit for most of his life, how do I pronounce the name of this band without sounding like a bumbaclot.
I've loved these guys for years but don't think I've ever actually said their name out loud but am fearful should the day eventually come where I must.

first we need to figure out whether there's any hope for you by hearing you say the word 'bumbaclot'

a few weeks ago, i had such a vivid dream, despite my decades long fascination with music, i had never once had a dream where I could actually hear music, i don't leave music on to fall asleep to or anything like that.
anyway, despite Sigur Ros, never really clicking with me for years, I revisited this album a couple months back, and it just totally resonated,
in my dream "Svefn-G-Englar" was playing so fucking vividly and loud it was unreal, i was absolutely floored and ecstatic when i woke up, it was so unexpected

@tect: I’m a year late, but I’d start by going with (roughly) “Sea-err Rose”, then when you inevitably receive blank expressions / confusion in return, downgrade to the stock choice of “Sig-err Ross”
don’t ask me about the album name tho, this has always just been “the blue one” to me
As previously discussed ( ) can be summarised neatly by my rather ingenious hand action, which negates the need for verbal communication entirely
